HOW TO GET STARTED

 

STEP ONE

Enquire with our events team today to discuss dates, location, number of guests & the most important part, the delicious menu choices!

STEP TWO

Once you have decided to book your date & private chef with Relish we will send you a booking form, terms & conditions & booking fee invoice to complete. We will need to know your menu choice & guest special diets no later than 14 days before your event.

STEP THREE

Full payment will be required no later than 14 days prior to your event, ahead of the day we will send you a full list of FAQ’s and details of what we require as well as your chefs name & estimated time of arrival

STEP FOUR

Day of your event please have your kitchen ready for our chef to use upon his arrival, then it is your time to sit back & enjoy.

FAQ’s

  • What time does the chef arrive? The times will vary slightly dependant on the menu selected but generally between 1.5-2 hours prior to your established sit down time.
  • Do I provide my own crockery & cutlery? Yes, please provide your own crockery, cutlery, glassware ahead of the for the number of guests you have attending day laid out ready for the chef to use. Alternatively you can hire all the above from Relish to bring on the day so you do not have to worry.
  • Does the chef bring their own kitchen equipment? The chef will bring basic kitchen utensils like his own knives etc, but will use your kitchen fully so pots, pans, extra utensils can be shown to the chef on arrival to use and they will rely on this equipment.
  • I do not have crockery & cutlery to use for my guests? Not a problem, you can hire china, cutlery & glassware from Relish if you need to or would prefer.
  • Does the chef serve me and my guests? The chefs generally will serve each course to you and your guests, but dependant on menu choices may require a help in hand now and then. If you would like a dedicated team member to help with service or as a wine server we can provide waitresses which can be quoted for.
  • Who cleans up after the menu has been cooked & served? The chef will leave the kitchen clean and tidy as it was found & dispose of rubbish accumulated during his preparation & cooking at your home.
  • Do we have to select the same dish for everyone? No, once you have selected the menu for your dine at home occasion you can let guests pick from the options provided on that menu. Once you have selected your menu & booked we ask to know what special diets your guests have and our chefs will alter the menu accordingly.
  • What is the minimum spend per booking? To be able to provide our service we have based our menu’s on a per head costing for no less than 6 guests. This does not mean you cannot book for less than 6 guests but we have to add the costs per head to the value of this to ensure we meet the minimum spend. Our chefs are of impeccable levels which means we have to ensure a minimum spend to be able to book them to plan, prepare, travel and cook for your event.
